This article explains usage of the licensing portal for viewing and creating available licenses.

1.    Login through the portal using the following link. You may only use email addresses saved on the account by Red                Transit Consultants support. If you received these instructions, the email address they were received by is likely one of        the account emails.

                        https://portal.redtransitconsultants.com/

            2. Here we have logged in with myemail@mycompany.com and located the account. We can see there is available                 licenses for Pipe Network Productivity Tools.

 3. Next, click on Create License button for the app you'd like to create licenses for.

4. The first step of creating license is to verify your address information.

5. On the next screen you will choose Standalone or Network license. The required inputs will be different based on the license type.

Standalone licenses are locked to a given computer and are not easily transferable/shareable between computers. They are meant to be used on a given computer for the duration of the license and only use/contain 1 license. Standalone licenses cannot be used remotely from other computers. Standalone licenses do not require connection to the server for the application to obtain licensing to run. More instructions can be found here: Standalone License Instructions

Network licenses reside on a server managed by your company and use a product called LMTOOLs by Flexera. They are meant to be shared among multiple computers and can contain multiple licenses - one of the fields asks for the number of license to be created within the Network license. Network Licenses do allow for using remotely from another computer as well. Network licenses typically requires IT intervention to setup Network licensing. More instructions can be found here: Network License Instructions

6. After choosing your desired license type and inputting the required values, choose Generate License. This process will take a few minutes.

7. When the website returns, your license information will be displayed on screen with the opportunity to download the license. It is also emailed to the email addresses on the account.

Copy - this will copy the license text to computer memory to be used elsewhere

Download - downloads the license file

Back to License Information - returns to your full account information

8. Once the license is generated, you can proceed following Standalone License Instructions or Network License Instructions to setup the licensing within the application.
