We allow for transferring licenses between computers once per year for the following events:
- Employee no longer works at company, need to transfer to another employee / computer
- Computer failure of some sort
- New computer purchased to replace the old computer.
Old Computer
In the event of transfer, we ask that the old license is removed and product is uninstalled from the old computer. To locate the location of the old license, please do the following:
1. AutoCAD Civil 3D can remain open. Go to Registry Editor.
2. Browse to: Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\FLEXlm License Manager
3. Check for key: “FLEXRTC_LICENSE_FILE”
4. Note the path stored on the key. This is where the license will reside, please delete the license.
Uninstall the Product from the Control Panel's Program -> Uninstall a Program.
New Computer
On the new computer, if not already done, install the product. The latest app installers can be found at the following website:
