If you are receiving an expired license message but don't believe you have an expired license, you can verify a few things.

1. If using a Network License, verify the license using in LMTOOLs. Opening the license file in a text editor will show it's expiration date. See the Network License File Breakdown. You can also check the Debug log in LMTOOLs - scroll all the way to the end and read up from bottom 10-20 license and see if there's anything stating it's expired or a -97 error.

If using a Standalone license, verify the license file used and the license file date. See the Standalone License File Breakdown.

2. Check your licenses on our website.

To find the location do the following:
  1. Civil 3D can remain open.
  2. Go to Registry Editor.
  3. Browse to: Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\FLEXlm License Manager
  4. Click on the key: “FLEXRTC_LICENSE_FILE”
  5. Note the path to the license file and perform the task mentioned above.
  6. After saving new licenses in this path, test the products.
