Borrowing and Returning Licenses

Borrowing a License from the Server

1. With AutoCAD / AutoCAD Civil 3D closed, browse to the corresponding Red Transit Consultants, LLC product.Bundle folder by browsing to this directory:

C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins

2. With the corresponding bundle, browse into the file directory as shown below

… RTCL_Product.Bundle\Contents\Win64

3. Run the RTCL_FlexBorrowOrReturnLicense.exe program.

4. Choose an end borrow date for the license. Licenses by default, defined in the license file can be borrowed for up to 6 months at a time, or otherwise specified differently by your companies network license options file.

5. Click Borrow License. Licenses will return automatically on the specified date. If you desire to return the license early, see be instructions below.

Returning a License Early

1. With AutoCAD / AutoCAD Civil 3D closed, browse to the corresponding Red Transit Consultants, LLC product.Bundle folder by browsing to this directory:

C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins

2. With the corresponding bundle, browse into the file directory as shown below

… RTCL_Product.Bundle\Contents\Win64

3. Run the RTCL_FlexBorrowOrReturnLicense.exe program.

4. Choose return license
