Bug Fixes

General:

  • Resolved an issue with the Network License WhoHas utility not being able to connect to license.

Network Quantities Label:

  • Moved the depth range settings into the drawing file instead of external file to follow other settings and allowing this portion to work again without having the settings on the computer.
Rename Parts
  • Resolved an issue where parts counting was counting by 2's
  • Resolved an issue causing Object Not Set to Instance of Object error

Slope Across Pipes (Single):

  • Fixed issue where selecting a pipe end was returning the incorrect pipe end elevation. Specifically the issue existed in Plan view but not Profile.

Slope Across Pipes (Multiple):

  • Fixed issue where selecting a pipe end was returning the incorrect pipe end elevation.
Swap Part Coordinates:
Resolved an issue that threw a eNullObjectId error

Enhancements:

General:
  • Added support for Civil 3D 2027
Ribbon:
  • Updated with new commands and Crossing Label updates
Hydraulic Properties:
  • Previous versions of this tool only did one pipe at a time. In this version, we have added the ability to select by our standard selection methods and then Export Pipe Hydraulic Data to CSV and then Import Pipe Hydraulic Data back onto the pipes from CSV. We recommend first running the Export mode to understand the format of data that it is looking for in order to import.
  • Tool is built to be flexible in column order and only looks for specific column names to find the appropriate pipes.
  • Export Mode: Writes out columns for Name, Handle, FlowRate, JunctionLoss, ReturnPeriod, ManningValue, HazenWilliamsValue, DarcyWeisbachValue, HGL Up, HGL Down, EGL Up, EGL Down. Each pipes currently set data will be populated in the CSV.
  • Import Mode: For Import, the CSV must have a Name column as this is the primary functionality on how the tool finds the pipes for import. This was done to ensure it works with other 3rd Party Software.
Create Crossing Labels:
  • Added an overarching style collection for Crossing Labels and upgraded crossing labels to a style control more similar to Civil 3D's capabilities. Now offering ability to create multiple style appearance options with ability to control layer, expressions for content, northing/easting coordinates and much more! Styles save to the drawing file - either import another drawings settings or build them into your templates. Styles also have the ability to build your own expressions to use in the Crossing Label Styles.

  • Crossing Label support now provided for both Pipe and Pressure Pipe Networks.

  • Added ability to import and export crossing label styles between drawing files. Commands are available via the Labeling panel pull down.

Create Crossings Table:
  • Added an overarching style collection for Crossing Tables and upgraded crossing tables to a style control more similar to Civil 3D's capabilities. Now offering ability to create multiple style appearance options with ability to control layer, expressions for content, northing/easting coordinates and much more! Styles save to the drawing file - either import another drawings settings or build them into your templates.Styles also have the ability to build your own expressions to use in the Crossing Label Styles.

Crossing Table support now provided for both Pipe and Pressure Pipe Networks.

  • Added ability to import and export surface crossing table styles between drawing files. Commands are available via the Labeling panel pull down.
Crossings Labels Editor:
  • Overhauled crossing palette to work with new crossing labels and changed to an editor dialog.
Update Crossing Labels and Tables:
  • Added command to update all crossing labels and tables in one command.
Renumber Crossing Labels:
  • Command offers ability to renumber crossing labels in mass via selection.
Precast Barrels Report: (Only available from Civil 3D 2024 onward)
  • This new tool allows for collecting structures from the file, selecting Top, Middle and Bottom barrel constant sizes with some tolerances. The tool will then generate an HTML report for quantities of Structure Barrels required for each structure using the structure height minus the bottom barrel height and top cone height.
Structure Detail Report: (Only available from Civil 3D 2024 onward)
  • This new tool allows for generating details of your structures in order to provide a contractor with the pipe angles and pipe sizes for where the structure's base pipe holes should be cut. Utilizes the structure's rotation angle with the pipe angle to draw up each detail. Outputs attributed blocks with elevation data and pipe sizes. Allows for customization of blocks (default blocks are added to your Dwg file that can be modified). Allows for integration with Sheet Set Manager for generating sheets.

  • Note: Details do not automatically update to current design. This report is meant for a completed design and execution of the tool. Red Transit Consultants strongly recommends to still verify the data coming out of the tool to ensure accuracy.

  • On structure panel, there is a pull down now with an additional command to access a tool to recall the settings dialog for changes as well as import blocks for editing to desired liking.

Hotfix1 Bug Fixes

2027 Specific Bugs:
  • Resolved issues with any palettes opening without error in 2027. This is due to .NET 10 changes with icons and how it reads in image files.

Pipe Crossing Labels:

  • Resolved an issue with upgrading previous crossing labels with invalid (missing) pipe(s) resulting in unable to create new crossing labels in the drawing file.
  • Resolved an issue with upgrading previous crossing labels' style with appropriate separation code strings, requiring the user to edit the style and manually correct issue.
  • Performance improvements
  • Resolved an issue when labeling crossings manually between a straight pipe and another straight pipe the selection order sometimes caused it to not find the crossing.
  • Resolved an issue where labeling crossings between curved pipe and straight pipe crossings would not find the crossing. Note that an issue still resides between curved pipe and curved pipe crossings.
  • Resolved an issue when running Manual mode, selecting Alignment and then Surface caused a fatal error.
  • Resolved an issue when in the Pipe Crossing Style Editor Parameter list, specifically for SeparationDistance, the units listed two options in 'yard' and there were no options for 'inch'.
  • Correct command name for Import Crossing Label Styles from XML
  • On automatic mode, after performing selection of Networks, we added a check for potential number of crossings to evaluate. If over 500, a message box warning the user of the processing time appears. If they click 'No', command does not process.

Pipe Crossing Tables:

  • Resolved an issue when editing the table style, attempting to add a column presented an error.
  • Resolved an issue when editing the table style, clicking delete column with no column selected caused a fatal error.
  • Resolved an issue with Adding and Deleting columns for the Table Style Editor
  • Correct command name for Import Crossing Table Styles from XML
  • Resolved an issue with sorting table data

Remove Pipe Crossings:

  • Added a "Are you sure" prompt to prevent accidental removal.
